Prom!

I found the perfect dress! I went to a place in Louisville called Rebecca's Boutique and saw a picture of a dress that I loved and they didn't have it btu they said I could try on one exactly like it but a different material and different design on top so I did and it fit absolutely perfectly, it was just too long which duh it would be, i'm 5'3. Anyway, it was sooo beautiful, I was there with Dana and I called my mom and told her she had to come look so I stood there in the dress in the mirror so my mom comes in and sees it and starts talking to the lady about buying the one in the picture that I loved and ordered it right then i was so surprised and excited. The lady even said "I've been doing this for a long time and I've never seen someone as excited as you."

here is a picture of the one i tried on:

Who's idea was it to make the high school and kctcs spring break schedule different? I don't understand why Daviess County can't plan their breakings to coinicide with the community college. Many students participate in classes at both schools so it would make much more sense to me if Daviess County would plan their breaks to be the same as OCC. If a student that happens to have classes at OCC and a Daviess County school can almost not take a vacation. They must either miss their high school classes or their college classes. What if a student particates in something like baseball? Our Apollo baseball players go to Cocoa Beach, FL every year for spring break so they would have to miss their college classes, the Daviess County spring breaks sometimes fall near the end of the semester and near finals for the OCC classes and it can be very detrimental to miss classes that late as very important things could be going on but they have to go on the trip for baseball.

At Megan's house last night we were talking to her parents about the house that they used to live in and the woman that sold it to them sold it because she was convinced it was haunted. so I'm wondering if you believe in ghosts? Some of the stories her parents told were pretty unbelieveable and creepy to say the least. For example when she was a baby and her father was asleep he woke up and saw a woman that said "hey the baby is crying" he just assumed it was his wife, Marla and got up and took care of the baby got it to stop crying and came back to bed and realized Marla was still in bed and hadn't moved and he thought back to when he saw the woman he remembered Marla was right next to him. Also Marla had many "premontions" that ended up coming true that she had dreamed about in that house.

birthday

Well yesterday was my birthday and nothing exciting happened but it was probably one of the best birthdays ever. Dana came to my house and woke me up with a disney princess present bag and my favorite perfume, a disney princess activity book that I kept telling her I loved and my favorite energy drink. then she took me out to breakfast and we went over to megan's house to eat the ice cream cake Megan bought for me. I cannot watch scary movies even though I like them because I get too scared and I had always wanted to see "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" so we watched that and it was scary but we watched it in the middle of the day so I thought it would be ok. Well then I lay down to go to bed and the lights are off and I had to call megan ebcasue I was too afraid to not talk to anyone because my mind started to think about the movie. I was too afraid to hang up the phone with megan so we stayed up til 5:30 and I finally fell asleep on the phone with her.

Purdue

It was always ht eplan for me to jus tmove to Louisville and live with my mom when i graduated and go to the University Of Louisville which I was soooo excited to do. Well, it's amazing how quickly all of one's plans can change. An amazing job opportunity presented itself to my mom and we will be moving to West Lafayette, Indiana when I graduate and I will go to Purdue University. At first I was so upset because I am not a person that takes change well, it always throws me off and I never know how to adjust. This was exactly what happened when my mom told me about possibly moving. she told me that because I was really the only person in the family that cared so much about moving I could help make most of the decision and because it was such a great opportunity and so much more money that I couldn't say no. So on thursday I went on a college visit to Purdue University and even though the campus is freaking huge I am so excited to go. It's a great school and we are looking at house very similar to the one we have in Louisville which is great because that was one of hte main reasons I didn't want to go, I love my mom's house in Louisville it's beautiful and I'm absolutely in love with it. Also the building is beautiful and they are looking in longevity with the person the hire for the position so there isn't any risk of losing the job after getting hired and everything is falling into place. Although I hate the thought of leaving Kentucky and Louisville and I am uncharacteristically excited to move and go to Purdue... even if you can't spell "boilermakers" into a cheer like you can the Cards
