snow

I don't know exactly how I feel about snow, obviously waking up and finding out you get to go back to sleep is a great feeling but as a senior I don't want to graduate in June. I don't mind late May because we already get out in late May but I do not want to get out in June again. I'm not one of those people that keeps track of when we get out of school for summer. But i do know that these fake possible snow days are killer! Although I kept telling everyone don't get too excited because we're not going to get out tomorrow. Meterology is the only career where you can be wrong all the time and not in get in trouble for it. I don't even understand why every other county around us is out surely the snow didn't just fall everywhere but daviess county

trademarks

Everyone has little trademarks and hearing what some of my friends wrote apparently I have trademarks that I don't even notice like constantly flipping my hair and rolling my eyes, but others I am well aware. I think my biggest trademark that people notice about me immediately after meeting me is my laugh. I have a very loud unique laugh I've heard it can be annoying and I've heard people say hearing my laugh makes them laugh. I laugh and smile all the time often for little things or before I can even get to the point of whatever I'm talking about. I don't mind these different things because they make me me and if I have a trademark I would much rather it be laughter and smiling than anything else.

Usually I don't like when other people do covers for popular songs they just don't ever seem as good as the original but there are a couple that I like such as Kelly Clarkson's "Cryin'" originally done by Aerosmith. Everyone knows Steven tyler screams as opposed to singing and I find it incredible that anyone else could sing it but listening to Kelly Clarkson's version it is incredible how she could sing it and it still sound good. She has such a huge voice coming out of such a little body, although I think many times the contestants/winners from American Idol can be cheesy her voice is incredible she has a great range and a strong voice. Not only do I think her version of "Cryin'" is good I almost like it better than the original by Aerosmith. I'll let you judge for yourself though!

superstitions

I don't konw if I necessarily believe in superstitions but I don't like to test them out. Such as the Macbeth curse, all of the unfortunate events tha thave happened are strange coinicidences so they seem suspicious but who's to say if they're just coinicidences or not? Even though they could be true or could not be true I don't go out of my way to avoid "bad luck" nor to I encourage it. I have noticed tha tpeople who believe in supertitions the most are athletes. My family is a hockey family and my little brother is the goalie and it is a rule that if the game is going well one DOES NOT say the word "shut out" until the game is completely over because they all believe that if someone says it during the game the shut out will go out the window. Also I think every single player on the team has a lucky something that they always wear, if my brother eats a certain thing and then plays a great game he will insist on having that particular food before every game. I believe in things like spirits, ghosts, and maybe even psychics and mediums because how can you ever know for sure if it's fake or not? Sure it may sound ridiculous but what proof is out there to contradict or agree with these things to have a concerte answer? That's why it's called the unknown.
