I'm really nervous to live in the dorms at Purdue. I don't know anyone going there so I will have to get a random roommate, even though I know this happens all the time and it can't really be that bad, there are stories of people who's random roommates have ended up being their best friends but I'm still scared about it because there are also those stories about horror roommates. Also, in a way I kind of want my roommate to be a sophomore that way they're not much older than me but they are a little bit and that way they've been there for a year and know whats going on. I think I have an ok personality and I will be able to get along with pretty much anyone I just hope they're nice and helpful. The roommate isn't my biggest fear though it's the entire situation, the not knowing is what gets me. I know I won't be the only one experiencing this as all the freshmen will be clueless but that doesn't make me feel any better, just means we'll all be ignorant. Plus the Purdue campus is huge and most of the dorms are a little ways away from the classes and lecture halls. But I know all of these are normal freshman jitters, I'm also really excited to meet new people. I go on April 5th to look at the different dorms etc I can't wait!
